Orthognathic surgery is an operation in which the bones that carry the face, teeth, and thus both eliminate bite disorders and correct facial proportions can be achieved. Our teeth are arranged on the lower jaw, which we call the mandible, and on the upper jaw, which we call the maxilla. With orthognathic surgery, mobilization is performed to the places where the arcs in which these teeth are sorted should be. It is basically an operation that corrects both biting disorders and corrects facial proportions.

Orthognathic surgery is my favorite form of treatment. We can also get very positive results in facial appearance by mobilizing the jawbones on my patient’s face while treating both bite disorders. In fact, we have many aesthetic applications in the face area, but we can provide a beautiful smile with orthognathic surgery. With its effect on the Middle face, lower face and neck areas, we can reach the positive result that the patient is looking for.

By beautiful smile, we mean laughing

  • Proper sorting of teeth
  • The entire size of the upper teeth and the appearance of additional gums 1-2 mm
  • at rest, the upper teeth appear only 1-2 mm.
